Textbook Media Press announced today the release of a new interactive study tool called StudyUpGrade! This premium item is layed into the online version of the textbook and includes e- flash cards, key concept reviews, and self-scoring quizzes. Students who want to "study-up" and up their grade will want to upgrade to StudyUpGrade. Each publication serves up plenty of material (over 1000 review items)--all designed to reinforce a student's understanding of the textbook material. Finance Textbook Addresses Financial Crisis
The recent financial crisis has resulted in an accelerated rewrite of a popular textbook for college courses teaching Financial Management. Students can now study the high-profile events of the recent financial crisis in their college textbook, including coverage of headline grabbing metldowns like AIG, Lehman Brothers, Merrill Lynch, Freddie Mac and Fannie Mac.
Textbook Media recently published the 5th edition of FInancial Management, Principles and Practices, by Timothy Gallagher, professor at Colorado State University. The textbook, which is avaiable for free in an e-book version, is widely used in finance courses at a number of U.S. colleges, including Northwestern University, the University of Missouri, and Carnegie Mellon. The company noted that no other textbook in the market this fall will provide such a current view of a rapildy shifting financial world.
