Ethical Decision Making, Second Edition
by Les Livingstone
Ethical philosophy can be complex and abstract. It can, and often does, lead to highly theoretical debates between experts over points that seem remote, perplexing, or even trivial. We have no desire to add fuel to this fire. Rather, we prefer to avoid these arcane debates in favor of practical solutions. Our framework uses the major mainstream contributions of ethical philosophy, but is sufficiently clear and concise to be used and useful for practical day-to-day purposes. At the same time, the framework should not become so simplistic or crude that it ends up as superficial.
